Not New York. :) My wife and I loved this place. Great food, great variety, so we can both get what we want. This is a smaller sit-down restaurant and thank goodness NOT a "New York style" Chinese place. It's a couple of doors to the right of Publix and is next to a Radio Shack. It's so worth the drive from the Ormond/Daytona areas. The staff was friendly and ready to serve us. We had a wait-staff person who was informed and answered our questions. Food was hot and super fresh. Portions were generous. Booths were comfortable. Have fun!

This little gem in the Trails shopping center is a friendly family-run business. I'm not a Sushi guy so I can't comment on the Sushi but the Chinese food is flavorful, well seasoned, and most dishes are generous with the vegetables. Order any of the meat with broccoli dishes and you'll see what I mean. The hot and sour soup is very tasty without any of the thickeners that some restaurants use and the Thai fried rice (chicken or pork) has a nice mixture of veggies and pineapple. The portions are all generous (my wife and I often have leftovers), All in all, a nice local Chinese restaurant, good for lunch or dinner.

They are all so friendly. . And the shrimp tempora roll was amazing. I love the family ran atmosphere. . The place is clean and reasonable priced. We will definitely be back as this will be our new Asian and sushi restaurant of choice.

After reading reviews thought I'd give it a try as the area is lacking good choices. As one review said place smells of grease when you walk in. We ordered tempura vegetables and teriyaki chicken. They didn't offer this as a combo. Chicken looked boiled with sauce poured on it,, no taste. Tempura was ok. Looking around everyone ordered Chinese food. Which looked pretty good. Why do they offer Japanese when obviously they don't know how to prepare it. Not going back....

I should have paid heed to the warning signs. The first warning sign was the smell that I noticed upon entering. You know, the smell that makes you want to hurry up and leave because you know that if you stay too long, you and your clothes will be smelling like Chinese food for the rest of the day. Just smelling "fried" until you go home and take a shower. And then there was the lack of patrons during the lunch rush hour of noon to 1pm. I should have known that there was a reason why the place was empty. I should have known... I ordered the lunch combo of General Tso's Chicken. It came with mounds of pork fried rice and a choice of egg drop soup, won-ton soup, or a can of soda. You will definitely get a large amount of food for the low price of $5 and some change! But the food was not good at all. The rice was very greasy and the veggies in the dish were not very fresh. The egg drop soup wasn't good either. I would not order that again! And next time, I'll heed the warning signs.

This is by far the BEST sushi place in Ormond. They have a large selection or many Asian dishes that meet everyone's desire. The service is always top notch. My wife and I eat here at least once a week. My wife gets her salmon sushi and I get a variety of dishes. I have never had anything bad. We even ordered a few hundred dollars for a party and they deliver in the area as well. Can't say enough about this place. If there is something you don't see or just feel adventurous - ASK. Candie will direct you to a great meal.

I ordered 2 Philadelphia rolls with no cucumber one of them tempura fried with siracha and a spicy tuna roll. It's so delicious and affordable it's my first and definitely will not be my last time ordering food from them! I ordered everything online (very convenient) and it came to my door about 30 minutes later. I highly recommend and can't wait to try more from this place!

I don't know what everyone else ordered, but I love this place. My husband and I are regulars. If you're going to order sushi, get the ISO and/or the Black Angel roll. They have really good tempura. The sauce has a bit of a kick, which is a nice change. Their Thai menu is limited, but the Thai basil chicken is really high quality. If the Thai crispy duck is on special, it's definitely worth trying. The duck meat is really tender, and my husband would pour that sauce on anything! The Chinese may be the weak link in the chain. The chicken lo mein is low on chicken, but had a lot of veggies. The orange chicken could also use more bite, it was a bit too mild for my taste. Overall, this place is definitely worth checking out. The staff is friendly and attentive, and there's plenty of great food on the menu.

Great place for lunch. Located in the same plaza as Publix to the right of it. The lunch special bento box is only $9 and includes an entree of your choice from the list of chinese dishes, california roll, miso soup, salad, edamame. Friendly, fast customer service. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is they went cheap on the salad, it was only cabbage, no green leaf lettuce or anything with actual nutrients.

They have chinese, japanese and thai. I was not impressed with the sushi. I give this place 3 because the chinese was good. but I still have my favorite. I liked the mei fun and the gyoza and the generals chicken had lots of flavor but they use dark meat chicken. The service was good and friendly, but the atmosphere was very boring.

Really good tasting food. I was surprised with the quality given it's location. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside it's quite nice and the food is very tasty. The variety of food choices (Thai, Japanese, Chinese) is also really nice. I will definitely come back.

Visited last night for the 1st time. Decor was surprisingly nice. They spent a few bucks to make it look nice and added a sushi bar. Place had a few tables going and thought we really might like this place. I had Mongolian Beef for $9.50 and it was 90% onions and woefully short on the beef. People let me say I'm not exaggerating. It was so salty too. I did not say anything because I was so hungry. The server never asked if everything was ok. They just didn't care. I said something when I paid the bill and they said sorry. I regret that poor food and poor service will mean this place won't be around in 6 months. Just don't expect much if you go and maybe you will like it, but I doubt it. For my money, I get better food from Hot Wok on Granada by Winn Dixie.

This new Asian/Japanese/Sushi/Chinese restaurant showed up in Ormond Beach next to the Publix. This place has changed hands a few times so we were reluctant to go in and try it but we're glad we took the chance. The renovations are classy and upscale. Tile floors, clean spacious booth seating, and a sharp sushi bar make this a step above the average restaurant in this area. The best part? The prices were extremely reasonable and fit right in with the average restaurants in this area! The menu has a bit of everything to satisfy a Japanese taste, a sushi-lover's taste and an American's plain old Chinese food taste. Specials listed were unique and well-priced. Our sesame chicken lunch and Alaskan sushi roll together came to less than $11. Family owned and operated. Pleasant folks. I'll definitely return. It's tucked back in a corner so it's not easy to spot but look for it! You'll be glad you did!

Good authentic food! A bit pricey however, but worth it I guess, this isn't NYC Though. Any who, to whom it may concern I would recommend. (: Just don't forget they deliver four miles within their radius.. And will charge you a delivery fee for the driver. So if your a tipper like myself you'll be paying double basically. If your concerned about that.....

Aweful. Actually brought the takeout back in and returned it. Tasted worse than mall Chinese food that had been sitting out all day.
